Maybe they should hold class in bars.

So, despite the statistical details of the disease remaining materially unchanged since mid-January, and the sad fact that Illinois ranks dead last in second vaccine doses administered, Chicago restaurants and bars just got the green light to go back to 50 percent capacity and stay open till 1 a.m.

To be fair, when the City of St. Charles unilaterally decided bars had to close at 11 p.m. during the height of the plague, it was a beyond BS random move. Who knew that, much like feeding Gremlins after midnight, the coronavirus would get more contagious in those late evening hours?

But back to the issue at hand.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightweight joyously proclaimed that, “Because people are still adhering to the public health guidance, it makes all the difference in the world. Thanks to your efforts, we are one step closer to putting this pandemic in our rearview mirror.”
